They just keep staring at me. Over and over again. I slowly blush. "S-Stop it." Mom sighs. "Honey, we're just here to talk to you. That's all." Dad nods. "Yep. And it's VERY important, so you BETTER NOT fall asleep!"

I jump. "O-Okay.." {groan} "Lucas..calm down, okay?" {heavy sigh} "Fine.." Mom takes a deep breath. "Anyway, sweetheart, we have something to ask you."

"Wh-What is it?" She merely stares down my shirt. Uhh, what are you looking at?!?! I blush again. "Don't stare at me like that!" Mom blinks. "Sorry honey.." Hmph.

She clears her throat. "Moving on. What me and Lucas want to ask you is..What do you think you are?" Huh? I frown. "..I don't understand."

Dad sucks in a breath, and slaps me. Son of a #####!! {gasp} "LUCAS! What the heck?!" He rolls his eyes. "You idiot. What do you THINK we're talking about?!?!" That's the thing. I have NO idea.

Ouch, my cheek hurts.. {facepalm} "You're hopeless Luke. Just go downstairs." Dad angrily leaves the room. Mom sighs again. "Sorry about that." It's fine, I guess..

The stinging in my cheek throbs. Salty burning tears slowly stream down my face. Mom flushes. "You alright sweetie?" No, of course not.

{rummaging} She holds an ice pack in her hands. "Do you want it?" Yes please. "Yes.." "Okay." {plop} !!!! That's so cold.. "Thanks Mom." She raises an eyebrow. "Who told you to start calling me 'Mom'?" I look away. "D-Dad.." {groan} "I KNEW it."

Mom gives me a hug. "Don't listen to him. You're only a kindergartener. You can call me 'Mommy' and Lucas 'Daddy'. Alright? Don't be afraid. I'll deal with him for you."

Thanks Mommy.. I hug her back. "Okay. Uhh, about the--" Mom nods, smiling. "Yes, the question for you. What I--we meant by What do you think you are is..well.." Just say it, please..

I squirm. "Just tell me!" She starts fiddling with her light brown hair. "Do you think you're really a boy, or something else?"

WH-WHAT?!?! My shirt slides again, slightly a few cuts. Mom gasps, covering her mouth. My face flushes red, and I pull my shirt back up, trying to hide my face.
